Indonesia Open Super Series Taufik won A Tight Duel Against Bao Chunlai

Jakarta - Taufik Hidayat walked into the Indonesia Open Super Series 2011 quarterfinals. Through super-tight battle throughout the match, he defeated Bao Chunlai 21-19, 25-23.

In the match in Senayan, Thursday (23/06/2011), Taufi's struggle to beat Bao was not easy. Although had won 13-6 in the first set, Taufik's game dawn and pursued by Bao to score 16-16. Taufik was even left behind 17-19.

However, the third seed was able to improve its appearance. He locked Bao at points 19 and eventually won 21-19.

In the second set, a tight re-occur. In fact, the way of the game became more intense near the end of the second set.

Bao almost won when he won by 20-19. However, Taufik did not give up and forced the deuce at 20-20 draw position.

Deuce did not just happen once. Taufik and Bao were equally determined to win until the fourth deuce occur at positions 23-23.

However, Taufik was the one who finally came out as winners. A smash which he released ended Bao's opposition and won 25-23.

In the quarterfinals, Taufik has opportunity to meet his close friend from Denmark, Peter Hoeg Gade. With Condition, Gade must beat Shon Wan Ho (South Korea) in the second round.
