PSSI Extraordinary Congress Officially Closed

PSSI Extraordinary Congress at The Sunan Hotel on Saturday (09/07/2011), finally over. After about ten exhausting hours, this great celebration managed to generate the new stewardship of PSSI.

The first agenda was choosing the PSSI chairman run smoothly. Through voting twice, Djohar Arifin Husin managed to beat Agusman Effendi after gaining 61 votes in the second round.

At a later stage, turn Farid Rahman who smiled broadly. He managed to win the duel versus Erwin Aksa to fill the position of Vice Chairman of PSSI.

The selection of the executive committee members took the longest. Beside having to choose nine people, the electoral process must also pass a vote twice.

Finally, the complementary cabinet of Farid Djohar appeared as well. They are Sihar Sitorus, La Nyala M. Mattalitti, Mawardy Nurdin, Robertho Rouw, Santoso Widodo, Erwin Dwi Budiawan, Tuty Dau, Tony Apriliani, and Bob Hippy.

After the executive committee members was elected, the next event was the ceremonial closing. At around 20:15 pm, the Extraordinary Congress PSSI officially closed by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Andi Mallarangeng.

"With this, the PSSI Extraordinary Congress I officially declared closed. Thank you," said Andi.

At the end of the event, the entire audience in the arena of Congress sang "Padamu Negeri" together.
